Story
There has only been one MCU trilogy that has been fantastic from beginning to end up to this time. It’s time to increase that number by one. The story of these people is perfectly wrapped up in “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3”. The writer/director James Gunn spent his time building relationships amongst and giving substance to each of the distinct story arcs.
This movie stands on its own, unlike other MCU movies that seemed like “filler episodes” meant just to build up a later installment in the franchise. Because the tale is standalone, there is a sense of closure. “Guardians 3” stands out in several ways in an otherwise confusing extended cinematic world.
The movie occasionally dragged because the creators were not afraid to take their time conveying this subject. I’m not sure what they could have trimmed out, despite the fact that it seemed longer than 2 hours and 30 minutes. The final fight contained plenty of explosives, as is customary for superhero movies.
There was just too much screaming in this movie, between the baddies and the fighting among the Guardians. The third act consisted largely of shouting match after screaming rage, so a headache was coming. Although these parts were really emotional, the screaming sometimes overshadowed the excellent acting.
One of the better films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe after “Avengers: Endgame” is “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3”. It is a stunning way to wrap up the Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy, albeit being less orderly than the first two films. This is a movie that I can’t wait to see again since it has outstanding set pieces, a great music, and fantastic chemistry between the cast members.
One of the finest Marvel films ever made, Guardians of the Galaxy 3 is on par with or maybe better than the previous film. (I didn’t think option number 2 was at all good.) The scenario building was excellent, the action was fantastic, the humor is brilliant, the plot is well paced, each character gets their time on screen, and the CGI is considerably superior than some of the more recent Marvel additions. The music was amazing as always.
As the third and final book in the Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy, this installment places a lot of emphasis on our favorite Rocket and brings several character arcs practically full circle. Our villain, an unknown actor who was the ideal bad guy, is now getting acknowledged and is being cast in several well-known TV programs. Don’t be shocked if you find yourself crying during various scenes of this movie because it is also a tearjerker.
You won’t be let down by this final addition to the Guardians, but you might feel a twinge of sadness that it’s over. The characters in this entertaining and thrilling space adventure, especially Rocket, have a lot of heart and humor. Rocket’s character serves as the focal point of the narrative throughout the whole film, and his trip ranks among the most fascinating and memorable aspects of the picture.
Although there is a lot of action and explosions in the movie, there are times when it seems like there are too many of them. There are several other problems with the plot; some of the tales seem hurried or undeveloped. These problems, however, are overwhelmed by the movie’s positive aspects and its unexpectedly somber themes.
